Hey! My name is Melanie. I am French, and I’ve been living in Miami for the past 3 years. I have always cared about how my lifestyle impacted the environment. Most people would think that the American way of life is just the opposite ; to me that’s an exciting opportunity.

My biggest challenge: rethink the way I dress. As a fashion enthusiast, I got caught up in the fast fashion cycles – willingly ignoring the conditions of their garments workers. I really wanted to be more conscious about the way I shopped. At the same time, I still wanted to develop a more elaborate and unique style. I embraced Slow Fashion, and started thrifting vintage clothes.
